Former Hartlepool goalkeeper Dimitrios Konstantopoulos has admitted he would welcome a possible emotional return to Victoria Park.Konstantopoulos spent almost four years with Pools before joining Coventry last May and played a major part in helping the club secure promotion to League One.
The 29-year-old, who is recovering from an Achilles injury, is currently out of favour with the Sky Blues and is planning talks with boss Chris Coleman concerning his future.
"I would not say no to anything and I would definitely not say no to Hartlepool," Konstantopoulos told the Hartlepool Mail. "If the conditions and terms are right then why not.
"Hartlepool is like home to me. I spent four brilliant years there, with ups and downs and a lot of excitement.
"I was playing most of the games under Iain Dowie but then a new manager [Coleman] came in who had new ideas. The most important thing is to get fit, but as soon as I get back, I will speak to the manager and decide what I am doing."
