Dundee United defender Garry Kenneth has won the Scottish Premier League Young Player of the Month award for March.Centre-back Kenneth helped Craig Levein's keep clean sheets in SPL matches against Gretna, Celtic and Motherwell, but blemished his record slightly by being sent off in the closing stages of the 1-0 defeat to Hearts on March 29.

The 20-year-old also gave an outstanding performance but finished on the losing side in the CIS Insurance Cup final as Rangers beat United on penalties after a 2-2 draw.
