Knill eager for victory finale

Bury boss Alan Knill is determined to put a dent in Rochdale's automatic promotion hopes by recording a sixth successive home win this weekend.Dale make the short trip to Gigg Lane aiming to record victory and keep alive their hopes of a top-three finish.

But the Shakers have thier own agenda and Knill, who has guided the club to safety with an impressive run of form, is aiming to claim another win on home soil.

He said: "It's not that we want to stop them, we want to make it six home wins on the trot.

"We've done really well. Attitudes and mentality have changed.

"Everyone keeps saying that we are safe and that there is nothing to play for - but there is plenty to play for."
