Milan Mandaric insists his enthusiasm for Leicester remains as strong as ever, despite the Foxes' disappointing Championship campaign.Mandaric vowed to get City promoted back into the Premier League within three years when he completed his takeover of the club in February 2007.

His first season at the helm has seen Leicester become embroiled in a relegation fight, but they can erase any drop fears with a home victory against rivals Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.

In a statement, Mandaric said: "It is fair to say that I am disappointed with the way things have gone for us since I arrived at the club.

"But that has not, in any way, dampened my enthusiasm to get us back where we belong - in the Premier League. Together we can make it happen."
