Middlesbrough keeper Mark Schwarzer has admitted he would like to end his career in Germany after hearing of Bayern Munich's interest in him.It is understood that Jurgen Klinsmann, who is set to become Bayern manager in the summer, is keen to attract the Australian shot-stopper to the Allianz Arena.
Schwarzer, who is out of contract with Boro in the summer, looks set to quit The Riverside at the end of the season as it appears he is unlikely to be offered the new two-year deal he desires.
The 35-year-old former Kaiserslautern stopper has admitted that a move to Germany would appeal and Bayern could prove a likely destination as Klinsmann searches for a replacement for Oliver Kahn, who retires in June.
Schwarzer said in The Sun: "It would be nice to finish my career in the Bundesliga."
