Hull boss Phil Brown has confirmed defender Michael Turner will formally sign a new three-year deal early next week.The 24-year-old, who joined from Brentford in July 2006, has verbally agreed to remain at the KC Stadium until 2011 and is expected to complete the formalities some time after Saturday's crucial home clash with Crystal Palace.
"Michael has verbally agreed a new three-year deal," said Brown.
"He'll put pen to paper officially on Monday or Tuesday next week, but we've shaken hands on it.
"It's a good sign that this football club is heading in the right direction."
