Cardiff chairman Peter Ridsdale insisted that "every player" at the club is still up for sale after their run to the FA Cup final - at a higher price.
The Bluebirds' financial worries have been eased slightly by the lucrative cup run and the January sale of Chris Gunter to Tottenham, but the Welsh side are still keen to add to their bank balance after a couple of lean seasons.
Everton manager David Moyes was reported to have watched highly-rated duo Joe Ledley and Aaron Ramsey during the 3-0 defeat at Wolves, while Ramsey has also drawn the attention of Manchester United.
"Every scout under the sun is watching Cardiff at the moment and every player has a value," Ridsdale told the Western Mail. "I expect people to be knocking on my door, but they can knock as much as they like. Certain players have a value and that is that.
"Every player is up for sale, that has always been the case. What has changed is that the price has just got bigger - it would take a massive cheque to prize certain players away."
Cardiff lie 13th in the Championship, one of six sides that can neither make the play-offs nor suffer relegation.
