An away win coupled with a defeat for MK Dons at home to Walsall will see Posh promoted and they will have Lee Frecklington fit for the trip, with Welsh defender Craig Morgan also back after three months out with a toe injury.

Top scorer Craig Mackail-Smith was an injury doubt but has been passed fit following a scan on his bruised foot.

For Colchester, Clive Platt is welcomed back, but skipper Dean Hammond is suspended and David Perkins, Johnnie Jackson, Paul Reid and Steven Gillespie are all sidelined.

Karl Hawley and Neal Trotman have returned to Preston following loan-spells, but Scott Vernon is back following a stint at Northampton.

Swindon have Gordon Greer and Hal Robson-Kanu available for their West Country derby with Bristol Rovers.

The pair are joined by fellow loanee Owain Tudur Jones, with Michael Timlin serving the second of a two-game suspension for the Robins.

For Rovers, Steve Elliott returns from suspension, with Craig Hinton likely to make way.

Coach Paul Trollope is expecting a double defensive boost, with Ryan Green and Aaron Lescott recovering from heel and groin injuries respectively.

Cheltenham boss Martin Allen has a host of injuries to contend with in their match against Carlisle.

Gavin Caines remains sidelined, while Alan Wright is not back to full fitness despite returning for the reserves, while on-loan Leon Constantine has returned to Northampton.

Carlisle could be boosted with the return of Joe Anyinsah, while forward Scott Dobie faces a late fitness test.

Veteran midfielder Graham Kavanagh serves the second of a two-match ban.

Chris Turner is expected to name an unchanged Hartlepool line-up as his side face Leeds.

Leeds will be without Fabian Delph (ban) and Robert Snodgrass (ankle) for their final away fixture of the season, with Andy Robinson, Brad Johnson and Andrew Hughes competing to replace them.

Tranmere boss Ronnie Moore will check on the fitness of Bas Savage (Achilles) ahead of the home clash with Yeovil.

Moore will definitely be without Ian Goodison as the defender continues to serve a four-match ban, as well as Chris Shuker and Chris Greenacre.

Yeovil are boosted by the return of midfielder Gary Roberts (ban) ahead of the trip to the play-off hopefuls.

Player-manager Terry Skiverton - sidelined by a foot injury - must wait on the fitness of David Noble (knee).

MK Dons manager Roberto Di Matteo could be boosted by the return of Aaron Wilbraham (back) and Peter Leven (ankle) for the visit of Walsall.

Walsall manager Chris Hutchings has an almost fully-fit squad for the trip to MK Dons.

Stephen Roberts, who has been sidelined for three months, remains the only absentee with a back problem, while Rene Gilmartin continues in goal.

Oldham boss Joe Royle, still waiting for his first victory since his return to Boundary Park, has several injury worries ahead of the visit of Southend.

Chris Taylor (ankle) and Ian Westlake (concussion) are struggling, while Fabio Ferriera has returned to parent club Chelsea with a groin strain.

Southend midfielder Anthony Grant is fit to keep his place for the trip.

Damien Scannell is in contention for a start after recovering from the bruised hip that kept him out last week.

Andy Booth, who retires at the end of the season, will lead Huddersfield's attack for the last time at the Galpharm Stadium against Brighton.

Anthony Pilkington will miss out again with a groin injury, but Michael Collins is expected to be fit.

Brighton's Dean Cox (knee) faces a late fitness test, but Jason Jarrett (groin) and Al Bangura (illness) are out.

A victory could ensure the Seagulls' survival in League One if results elsewhere go their way.

Gary Alexander is available to lead the line for Millwall against his former club Leyton Orient after the red card he received last week was overturned.

Skipper Paul Robinson is still struggling with his metatarsal injury, but the centre-half is hoping to be available for the play-offs.

Leyton Orient midfielder Jason Demetriou is set to return following his recovery from an ankle injury, while Adam Boyd (virus) is unlikely to play despite shaking off an ankle injury.

Northampton boss Stuart Gray is facing an injury crisis ahead of the crucial clash with already-relegated Hereford.

Paul Rodgers (knee), Jason Crowe (foot), Giles Coke (calf) and Adebayo Akinfenwa (back) are all struggling, but Liam Davis (foot) could return.

Hereford manager Graham Turner will have a fully fit squad at his disposal for his penultimate game in charge, before handing over to John Trewick at Edgar Street next season.
