Taaramae fractures elbow
Cofidis rider Rein Taaramae sustained a fractured elbow on his return to action last week following a bout of glandular fever.
The Estonian crashed during the Vuelta Castilla y Leon and scans have since shown he has suffered a break - his second piece of bad news in a month.
In mid-March the 24-year-old, who posted a second-place finish at this season's Vuelta a Andalucia and came third on the Etoile de Besseges, was told he had glandular fever.
His latest setback, however, should not keep him sidelined for long.
"A scan revealed an incomplete fracture of the radial head of the left elbow," Cofidis team manager Eric Boyer said.
"In 10 days, he'll be able to start up training on the road again, and return to competition in three to four weeks' time, depending on the healing process."
