Defending champions Trentino BetClic beat Asseco Resovia Rzeszow 3-1 in their Champions League match in Poland.

Trentino split the opening two sets with their hosts in a tough-fought match, but gradually pulled away to end up 25-18 26-28 25-21 25-18 winners and qualify for the final four of the tournament.

" We are very glad to win this game and that we secured our promotion to the final four," said Trentino skipper Matey Kaziyski.

"At the end of the first set we played very concentrated and determined. Anyway I believe that in the finals we can play even better."

The Italian side will meet either ACH Volley Bled or Hypo Tirol Innsbruck in their next match, which will be played in Lodz on April 10-11.
