Blackpool manager Simon Grayson says work to improve his squad for next season in the Championship is an on-going process. The Seasiders boss confirmed he has been in constant contact with agents since the season ended at the start of the month.
Grayson told the club's official website: "The agents bit is on-going all the time, we spend many an hour on the phone to various agents about various players through the course of the season.
"I've met a couple of players this week and it's no secret we tried to sign Lee Miller from Aberdeen but unfortunately due to family reasons he decided to stay in Scotland.
"But you know from now until the start of August, not every club is going to get every player they want which is why you have to look far afield and look at different avenues.
"As we know, deals can fall through for various reasons and we won't be the only club to miss out on a target this summer."
