Kilmarnock manager Jim Jefferies is glad the season is over despite it ending on a high as Mehdi Taouil sealed the club's third successive victory with a brilliant last-minute winner at Motherwell.
Taouil earned Kilmarnock a 2-1 win by shooting inside the near post following some great skill between himself and David Fernandez.
Killie pair Iain Flannigan and Ryan O'Leary both toiled badly with injury after Jefferies had made three enforced changes for this Clydesdale Bank Premier League clash, but Taouil popped up with the winner after Motherwell defender Brian McLean had cancelled out Danny Invincibile's opener.
Jefferies said: "I don't think you could finish the season with a better goal. Fernandez took three players out and to show that much composure and skill in the box was great.
"Considering the changes before and during the game against a strong Motherwell side, it was a great away result. You don't often enjoy three wins on the trot."
Jefferies was left counting the cost, though, as David Lilley suffered a suspected broken wrist and Manuel Pascali and Grant Murray clashed heads.
