Tottenham midfielder Hossam Ghaly hopes his chances of securing a move from White Hart Lane will not be scuppered by injury.The Egyptian midfielder faces three months on the sidelines after damaging knee ligaments playing for his country against Malawi on Sunday.
Ghaly has been destined for the Spurs exit ever since throwing his shirt to the ground after being substituted by former boss Martin Jol in May last year.
A move to Birmingham broke down last summer and he instead spent the second half of last season on loan at relegated Derby.
The 27-year-old told told FilGoal.com: "I tore knee ligaments. Doctors say I will be out for three months, but I hope it would not hinder my chances of finding a new club."

When you tear your ligaments (especially the ACL) its pretty much the end of professional sports as a career. Just release him.
