John Miles has returned to Accrington Stanley from MK Dons following Paul Ince's appointment as the new manager of Blackburn Rovers.The 26-year-old midfielder - who spent the second half of the season on loan with the Dons - still has 12 months remaining on his contract at the Fraser Eagle Stadium.

Stanley assistant manager Jimmy Bell told the Lancashire Telegraph: "He's an Accrington player and Accrington pay his wages.

"He had a good end to the season with MK Dons and they may end up coming back in for him - John's a very gifted footballer and perhaps he did suit MK Dons.

"He tends to drift in and out of games, but he could still play a big part at Accrington. It's just finding that right balance for John."
