Bristol Rovers have revealed that they will face League Two outfit Rotherham in a pre-season friendly scheduled for Wednesday July 30.Paul Trollope's Pirates will face the Millers at the Don Valley Stadium in Sheffield, provided the Football League allow the Yorkshire club to play there next season, in their final game before the new season commences.
Trollope told the club's official website: "Although this game may not capture everyone's imaginations, from a footballing point of view, it is an excellent fixture.
"It is a realistic game for us in terms of competition and travelling, as it is similar to what we should expect to encounter during the League One Season.
"This is very important for us in terms of preparation."
