Reading defender Michael Duberry has signed a new one-year contract with the club, and is confident of winning promotion next season. The 32-year-old made 13 appearances in the top flight in 2007/8 and is determined to steer the Royals back to the Premier League at the first attempt.
Duberry told the club's official website: "I'm very happy to stay and it's nice to know that the manager has got the confidence in me to give me another year.
"Hopefully I will be able to reward him by helping to take the team back up.
"I've played in the Championship before and I know what it takes to be successful at that level."
