Champions League - Derbyshire completes Greek move

Blackburn striker Matt Derbyshire has completed his move to Olympiacos after signing a four-year deal with the Greek double winners.

The 23-year-old spent half of last season out on loan at the Piraeus club and last week Rovers accepted a bid, believed to be around £3 million.

Former England U21 international Derbyshire scored eight goals in 11 appearances for the league and cup winners after moving on loan in January.

  3. wow, hard to see why they let him go, and no on else in­ the Premier league wanted him, he seems a bargain buy­ to me.. Stoke and Hull talk about Owen, but this would­ be a less expensive buy..
