Paul Peschisolido is closing in on three signings that will complete his Burton squad for the club's maiden League Two campaign.

The Brewers boss is in advanced talks with a striker and a midfielder, and also hopes to persuade a central defender to move to the Pirelli Stadium.

"I am very excited about all of these players and I think they will raise the roof with the fans," Peschisolido told the Derby Telegraph.

"If they all come off, I would say we would be just about there. After that, we should be able to work around things with a loan signing or two if we need them."
