Derbyshire leaves Blackburn

Blackburn striker Matt Derbyshire has completed his move to Olympiacos after signing a four-year deal with the Greek champions.

The 23-year-old spent half of last season out on loan at the Greek club and last week Rovers accepted a bid, believed to be around £3million.

Derbyshire scored eight goals in 11 appearances for the Greek cup winners after moving to Olympiacos in January.

  1. what are we playing at! local lad, good and wanted to­ play for us also can score goals, something we have­ been lacking. we will probably bring some out of favour­ player in or a sick note, play for us for a year score­ a few goals and want to move on to higher pay! (like­ others have)
