West Brom's head of sports science Dan Harris is busy ensuring the players have a hard regime lined up ahead of their return to pre-season training next week.
The players report back to the Hawthorns next Wednesday and Harris, who joined the Baggies from Birmingham last summer, is charged with getting the squad ready for a promotion assault on the Championship and an instant return to the Premier League.
He told the club`s official website: "It's important to get preparation for the season right.
"My job is to make sure all the players are ready to peak physically, not just for the first game of the season but for the duration of the 46 league games.
"When you look at the squad as individuals, they all need different amounts and types of work to get them ready for the season.
"But there will always be some boys that need more work than others and some that can probably play a game from day one."

Drew you are a complete joker chap. The players didnt perform, if it wasn't for the dedication of Mowbray and Harris to fitness and true football, the lads would have been relegated a long time before they actually were. You make yourself look stupid with comments like that, football today is a science, but at the same time even if you put premium petrol in a banger, it's never going to win any races. think about that you plum!

and then moaning all the decent players have signed for other teams. We all know "Uncle
Jeremy" won't pay out for players during the window. So is this going to be another summer of making do, with players nobody else wants in July and August. Get the new
manager in now and not the cheapest guy available to save on the budget.
