Berba plays full 90 in Spurs draw

Dimitar Berbatov played the full 90 minutes of Tottenham's 1-1 draw with Hercules on Thursday, but Robbie Keane was not even on the bench.While Spurs' star strike duo continue to be the subject of intense transfer speculation, Darren Bent took the chance to show Juande Ramos his worth by levelling the scores from an Aaron Lennon corner after Addison had given the hosts an early lead.

Tottenham created a host of chances in the second half, with Lennon and new boy Giovani dos Santos impressing on the flanks.

Former Crystal Palace youngster John Bostock came off the bench late on, and almost snatched victory for his new side but lashed wide after Jamie O'Hara's injury-time free-kick caused confusion in the home defence.

  1. Some People aren't very bright. Spurs don't want to sell Keane or Berbatov, But the managers of Liverpool and Man U start saying "They want to play here and will sign soon." The players think, "Cool, If I sign at man U i'll win the league and Champions League and get a medal" and then ask to move,

    They ask to leave and don't want to stay. They aren't going to put in 100% unless they get what they want. It's an indictment of soccer players these days. Just look at Cristiano Ronaldo. Lacks the Honesty and integrity to say "No Comment, or I am a Man U player until they decide to sell me." But tells everyone what they want. Real I Want to sign. Man U, I want to stay. He is playing everyone. And Sepp Blatter (Mr Moron) says He's a slave.

    I suggest we make Mr Blatter a REAL slave for a few months and then see if he utters such rubbish again! IF ronaldo wanted to have freedom, he should have signed a short contract or not a huge new one over many years not so long ago.
