Cardiff boss Dave Jones has stepped up his search for another striker following the departures of Robbie Fowler and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.Jones is keen to add more firepower to his strikeforce and, despite attempts to lure prolific Rangers striker Kris Boyd away from Ibrox, currently has just three recognised strikers in his current squad .
"We're still trying to bring in two strikers as Steve Thompson, Ross McCormack and Paul Parry is all we have." Jones told the BBC.
"We need more depth within the squad and that's what we're trying to get.
"I'm having to make Paul Parry a makeshift winger at the moment because Peter Whittingham is injured."
