Hull City are reportedly in talks with Tottenham defender Anthony Gardner over a move to the KC Stadium after agreeing a fee for the defender.Spurs are willing to let Gardner move on as he is well down the pecking order at White Hart Lane and they are keen to raise funds for their own transfer plans.
Stoke were keen on signing Gardner, but had an offer for the player turned down earlier this month.
Hull have now jumped to the head of the queue for the former Port Vale man and the Tigers are believed to have agreed to pay a fee in the region of £2.5million for the England cap.
Gardner, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Everton without making an appearance due to injury, is keen on a move to Hull as he looks to be playing regularly at this stage of his career.
The 27-year-old is expected at the KC Stadium to undergo a medical ahead of sealing his switch to the club.
