Arsene Wenger has revealed he expects Arsenal striker Eduardo da Silva to make a successful return after his rehabilitation from a broken leg.The 25-year-old is making good progress having spent time back in his native Brazil, and is on target to meet his nine-month recovery schedule.
Eduardo is set to return to England and watch his team-mates in the Emirates Cup on August 2, after which he will be assessed by the Arsenal medical team.
"We hoped he would be back earlier, but it is very difficult to say," Wenger said.
"It will be three or four weeks more [until he comes back to England], but I don't really know yet."

Dont worry guys. When he played for Dinamo Zagreb, he also had bad injury (knee). He came back stronger than ever. A two years later he crushed England in Zagreb. So dont worry, this fellow is strong( fisical and mental)
May you return earlier than 9 months. May you return with natural iron in your legs, as strong as horse to carry Arsenal to the promises land.
i had the identical injury 2O months ago - frankly we should be thrilled he is able to run at all; i was advised to quit after 9 marathons, and still haven't tried altho i've taken up other sports.
Eduardo was a star player, but I doubt that he will play anywhere near his best again, but hope he proves me wrong.
