The fifth round of the Intercontinental Rally Challenge will take place in Portugal, on the island of Madeira more precisely.

Already a great staple of the European Rally Championship for many years, the Rali Vinho Madeira will be hosting both the IRC and ERC next week.

66 crews are expected at Funchal, on the main island of the archipelago, where this second Portuguese event of the season will be launched with the running of a single 2.28-kilometre super special stage Thursday evening.

In all, 21 stages appear on the rally's three-day programme, to be concluded with the late-afternoon Chao do Lago 2 stage on Saturday.

The island of Madeira, situated off the Moroccan coast, observes the same GMT + 1 time zone as Portugal and the UK. The schedule indicated below in the first column is set in local time; the second column represents the time in most European countries.
