QPR will be without Fitz Hall when they host Accrington in the second round of the Carling Cup.
The central-defender had to be substituted at half-time during Saturday's 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest after suffering a rib injury.
Kaspars Gorkss replaced Hall at the weekend and will come in from the start against the League Two side.
Skipper Martin Rowlands is not far away from a return from the ankle injury he suffered on the opening day of the season, but he may not be risked in the cup.
Young striker Angelo Balanta has also shaken off an ankle problem and could be added to the squad.
Winger Lee Cook is still missing as he recovers from summer knee surgery.
