We haven't got a snow flakes chance. Our Batsmen­ dont do it enough times to merit selection. When will­ the selectors stop fronting the "usual­ suspects" and give us something to chear about.­ Give new guys a chance. yes we may get beat, but times­ are changing, and on current form the existing top 5­ batsmen would struggle to get 200 between them (even­ based on each batsman getting his test average per­ innings this series)! Strauss averaging 23, Cook 44,­ Bell 60, Pietersen 61, Collingwood 48. and these­ figures are only bolstered by the fact that during one­ innings each has made a 50 or 100. They have not done­ it as a team together. each individual has had a good­ bat on 1 innings out of 5. this is not good enough.­ Broad has a better batting average than all of the­ above for this series (averaging 80 from 3 innings­ which includes a not out in one innings!). My­ prediction for a first innings total from England - 228­ - Broad top scorer!
