Ireland cleared after hospital visit

Stephen Ireland has been given the all-clear after being taken to hospital on Wednesday night following Manchester City's Carling Cup win over Fulham.

The midfielder was substituted complaining of dizziness and feeling unwell in the 75th minute, and was later taken for tests.

However, the club have confirmed that nothing was found wrong with the 23-year-old, who will now take some time to rest before resuming training, but is expected to be available for Monday's visit of West Ham.

    Low carb 'wenger­ style' may give them the ripped look but ultimately­ it impacts upon their ability to;

    1) stay injury­ free
    2) maintain concentration over a full game with­ additional minutes
    3) play more than once a week
    4)­ keep their stamina

    Face it, Ireland [and mroe to come]­ will be carted off because of this ludicrous system­ which injures and impedes more than it­ produces.
    Richard Dunne will excel at Villa and be fit­ all season.

    Toure, Bridge, Lescott will be injured v.­ soon. Richards is already out.
