Switzerland's Timea Bacsinszky will attempt to win her first WTA tour title when she faces German sixth seed Sabine Lisicki in the final of the Luxembourg Open.
Bacsinszky, the world number 70, put out Belgian fifth seed Yanina Wickmayer, last week's Linz champion, 3-6 6-2 7-5.
Lisicki (pictured), meanwhile, saw off Israel's Shahar Peer 6-3 4-6 7-6 (7-5) in a 140 minute semi-final marathon.
Tournament favourites, US Open winner Kim Clijsters and Danish world number six Caroline Wozniacki, were eliminated earlier in the tournament.

Well done girls. Reaching the final was no present for both of you. Make the best
of it and be the new fresh wind in the WTA tour;-) (Godelieve, Flanders-Belgium)
I am glad for both girls, they are both wonderful players, good luck.
Mo Mo - it seems to me, females can reach the top of table tennis WITHOUT having to grind away their femininity and suffer stressed limbs.
i dont agree with you,David Franks:Walkabouts Verse, the female life can be just as good as the male life.you are rude.
As I've said in free-online verse, females should play TABLE tennis, which puts far less stress on the racket/bat arm.
