Saints continue winning run
Southampton scored three times in the second half to turn a 1-0 half-time deficit into 3-1 win and a fourth successive victory against MK Dons at St Mary's.
They bossed the bulk of the first half without seriously extending MK Dons, who had not conceded a goal in winning their previous three matches.
Right on the stroke of half-time Dons burgled the lead with a stunning free-kick by Jason Puncheon. Southampton central defender Radhi Jaidi was cautioned for a foul on Jermaine Easter and Puncheon bent the resulting free-kick around the Southampton wall and inside goalkeeper Kelvin Davis' near post.
Southampton made a double substitution eight minutes into the second half and promptly turned the match on its head.
Within minutes, Dean Hammond equalised at the far post from a cross by Lloyd James, whose free-kick 20 minutes later picked out Rickie Lambert to fire Southampton ahead with his ninth goal of the season.
MK Dons launched heavy late pressure in an unsuccessful bid to salvage the situation, but were caught on the break in injury time when David Connolly intercepted a back-pass to clinch Southampton's victory.

This is Pardew's team and as long as he is given free reign, Saints can carry on marching up and onwards. Come on you reds!!!!
This winning habit is getting kinda good!! Just goes to show what a good manager Alan Pardew is. To go 1-0 down and realise that our formation wasn't working. Managers in the past would have stuck with the same formation, no matter what. AP relised it wasn't working so changed it, with devasting affects! What a result!! This result MUST now make the rest of the league sit up and take notice of us. This team is going places.... up, up and up! COYR !!
Climbing up that league - play offs here we come - COYR !!
