Premier League - Hutton set for scan

Tottenham full-back Alan Hutton will have a scan on his injured foot after missing the 1-0 victory over Blackburn at White Hart Lane.

The 23-year-old's start to the campaign was delayed due to the problem but he had been playing for the last month and featured in Scotland's defeat to Argentina last Wednesday.

Spurs boss Harry Redknapp faces an anxious wait to see if Hutton can make the trip to Nijmegen for Thursday's UEFA Cup clash as right-back Vedran Corluka is cup-tied and skipper Ledley King will be rested.

Striker Roman Pavlyuchenko, who is also ineligible for European action this week, scored the only goal of the match against Blackburn on Sunday, lifting Spurs out of the relegation zone.
