Leicester have appointed Paul Aldridge as their new chief executive replacing the outgoing Tim Davies, who left the club on Friday.Aldridge had previously spent 10 years with West Ham, predominantly as their managing director, and replaces Tim Davies, who left the position earlier on Friday.
Chairman Milan Mandaric said: "I am extremely pleased to have secured Paul's services. I've known him since my time at Portsmouth and have always been impressed with his professional approach whenever I have dealt with him. He has a great understanding of the industry and I'm sure he will play a vital part in my plans for Leicester City."
Aldridge told the club's official website: "I was extremely honoured to be offered the chance to join Leicester City. Milan has great plans for the club and I had no hesitation in accepting the challenge.
"I always enjoyed my visits to both Filbert Street and the fabulous Walkers Stadium and I am determined to play my part in helping return Leicester City back to the Premiership."
