Gray returns for Chairboys clash

Fri 25 Jan, 12:16 PM

Kevin Gray's return to fitness gives Chesterfield manager Lee Richardson a full-strength squad to choose from for the trip to Wycombe. The defender has missed the last seven matches - three through suspension after his red card against derby rivals Mansfield and four because of a hamstring injury.

Richardson is likely to stick with the same starting XI after his side performed so magnificently in front of the TV cameras against Hereford on Monday night.

Top scorer Jack Lester scored twice in the 4-0 defeat of the Bulls, taking his tally for the season to 21 goals in all competitions.

In the process the summer signing from Nottingham Forest became the first Chesterfield player since Steve Norris during the 1993-94 campaign to break the 20-goal barrier for the club.
