Hyde worry for Baggies clash

Fri 25 Jan, 01:16 PM

Peterborough manager Darren Ferguson has an injury doubt over captain Micah Hyde ahead of the FA Cup fourth-round clash with West Brom. The experienced midfielder has a hamstring injury and is facing a race against time to prove his fitness. Dean Keates is on standby to replace the former Watford man if required.

Left-back Jamie Day has been passed fit after the postponement of last Saturday's trip to Barnet allowed him time to recover from the dead leg he picked up in the 8-2 annihilation of Accrington Stanley.

Fellow full-back Tom Williams and £150,000 signing from Barnet Liam Hatch are both cup-tied but Danny Crow could be involved in a Posh shirt for the first time since September after recovering from a broken metatarsal.

Defenders Chris Westwood and Shane Blackett remain sidelined with knee injuries while young winger Alfie Potter is on loan at non-league side Havant & Waterlooville and is set to play at Anfield.

The sides met at London Road back in August in the Carling Cup with Tony Mowbray's side running out 2-0 winners.
