Motherwell striker Chris Porter is ruled out of the visit of Inverness after suffering a knee injury in the Scottish Cup win over Hearts.Porter strained the back of his knee but could return for the SPL clash with Celtic on Wednesday.

Jim Paterson serves the second of his two-game SPL ban but Steven McGarry is expected to return from illness.

Young goalkeeper Luke Daniels could make the bench after signing for Motherwell on Friday morning from West Brom.
