Argentinian giants River Plate are hoping to sign Liverpool midfielder Sebastian Leto, but the player's agent is not optimistic of a deal.Reports in Argentina suggest the 21-year-old is poised to move to Monumental on a six-month loan deal, but the player's agent, Fernando Consentino, has revealed it is far from clear cut.
He told Ole newspaper: "It is a difficult negotiation to complete, but not impossible."
River Plate are trying to win their first league title since 2004, as well as their first Copa Libertadores since 1996.
Leto joined Liverpool last summer from Lanus but has found first-team football hard to come by.
His only appearances have come in the Champions League and Carling Cup, with two starts in each competition.
