Prediction: 3rd.

CASTLEFORD TIGERS

Prospects: How the Dragons adapt to life after Stacey Jones will determine their season. It could be a long haul.

Prediction: 10th.

HARLEQUINS RL

HUDDERSFIELD GIANTS

Coach: Jon Sharp (since August 2003).

Player to watch: Luke Robinson - it is time for the former Wigan half-back to show his potential and, behind a strong pack, he could do just that.

Prospects: Huddersfield will miss Brad Drew and the loss of new signing David Hodgson through injury is a body blow but Jon Sharp has recruited well and the Giants should again be pushing for a top-six spot.

Prediction: 6th.

HULL FC

Prospects: Hull can finally put the Paul Cooke saga behind them and, despite an early crop of injuries, should be back challenging for a Grand Final spot.

Prediction: 4th.

HULL KINGSTON ROVERS

Coach: Justin Morgan (since July 2005).

Biggest Super League win: 86-6 (v Huddersfield, 1999).

Biggest Super League defeat: 14-68 (v Wigan, 1996).

Player to watch: Paul Sculthorpe - no close-season signings for the Saints but, if Scully can bounce back from his horrendous run of injury, it will be like having a new player.

Odds to finish top: 5-2.

Prospects: Saints players will want to pull out all the stops to give Daniel Anderson a fitting farewell and, unless injuries bite, they should not be written off.

Prediction: 2nd.

WAKEFIELD TRINITY WILDCATS
