Yoko Shibui of Japan won the Osaka International Women's Marathon.
The victory booked her place on the national team for August's World Championships in Berlin.
Shibui pulled away with just over 10km left to win in a time of two hours, 23 minutes and 42 seconds.
"It's great to be back after eight years," Shibui said. "I tried not to worry too much about the time and just tried to run at my pace."
It was her second Osaka title, and first for eight years: her previous win there was on her marathon debut in 2001.
