It's a good job Ashely Cole is considered to be­ black otherwise he would be called a racist for­ supporting Terry as a witness as would Desailly for­ being a character witness. ­ Terry should try to shake Ferdinands hand as it will­ show him to be up front and prepared to apologize for­ any misunderstanding. Ferdinand refusing to shake hands­ will show him to be a petty individual who wasn't­ even prepared to speak to Terry face to face after the­ match, instead he ran to the police to waste tax­ payer's money on a non issue and helped some of his­ own race turn this into a political football. Luckily, ­ most black footballers saw the stupidity of the whole­ thing and identified Terry as not being a racist. The­ Ferdinand's may have another deeper issue at heart­ such as a captaincy and it's loss to Terry. Who­ knows, it's only speculation but Ferdinand­ won't come out of this in a good light as for those­ in his team trying to gain some limelight....you'll­ have plenty of it if you get relegated because you­ don't have much chance of anything else.
