Alex keen on Pearson

Crewe are considering extending Greg Pearson's loan spell from Burton.

Pearson linked up with the Alex on a one-month deal 12 days ago. He has made two appearances for the club, scoring on each occasion in victories against Oxford and Dagenham.

Alex boss Steve Davis has been pleased with the 26-year-old's contribution so far and plans to talk to Burton counterpart Paul Peschisolido about extending the deal should his good form continue.

"You never know what you will get with loans but Greg has done excellently," Davis told the Crewe Chronicle.

"He has worked very hard to improve his fitness and he has fitted in well - you can't be disappointed with two goals in two games.

"As long as he continues to do well we'll look at it - and I'd have to speak to Paul (Peschisolido)."
