Doncaster vice chairman Dick Watson has resigned from his position at the club, along with three other directors.
A statement on Rovers' official website from chairman John Ryan cited health reasons for Watson's departure, but offered no explanation for Terry Bramall, Andrew Watson and Sarah Kell's collective decision to stand down.
"In Dick's case he was advised to resign due to medical reasons and all four will be a great loss to the club," said Ryan.
"I would like to pay tribute to the help they have given me over the last four or five years, particularly my vice chairman Dick Watson, during which time the club has advanced significantly.
"I cannot disguise the fact that this will come as a disappointment to our loyal supporters, not to mention myself, but we now have to look to the future."
Doncaster currently lie second bottom of the npower Championship in the midst of a turbulent season on and off the pitch, which has seen Dean Saunders replace Sean O'Driscoll as manager and agent Willie McKay acting as a transfer consultant to help facilitate the arrivals of big-name signings such as El-Hadji Diouf, Habib Beye and Pascal Chimbonda.

to johanne, i do believe i have the best interests on the team when i said about leaving all the new imports out of team and go back to the team that got us where we are now . i have supported donny all my life 57 years, so i kno all the ups and downs weve had, but still love the team .
Donny wil stay up.Why do all English men pull all sports down when things go wrong. This is the time to get behind all our sports men and women, that is what doncaster rovers want now get behind your team dont pull it down. Martinh Rose A Donny man.
whats happened to the footballing side everyone feared and respected from beginning of last season, lets get rid of these imports and put the old donny side out before we lose all respect for what weve achieved over last few years .
all the players mentioned are not interrsted in club just a pay packet at end of week. donny to go down!!
