Manchester City head to Liverpool insisting it is not mission impossible to claim a place in the Carling Cup final.
City trail from the first leg a fortnight ago and are likely to be without Mario Balotelli through suspension, in addition to Vincent Kompany, plus Yaya and Kolo Toure, who are on African Nations Cup duty with the Ivory Coast.
Yet Blues winger Adam Johnson believes the Reds' 1-0 advantage will create an uncertainty City have the players to exploit.
He said: "It's a tricky one for them. Do they try to attack us or try to defend against our quality players for 90 minutes?
"The thing is no matter who we play, we will create chances at some point. We beat them 3-0 at home, so we can score against them.
"No-one is expecting us to go through so the pressure is off for once and we can go there with freedom, play our football and have a go. It won't be easy but we are quietly confident."

Re:6 , I guess you dont understand the rules regarding having a certain amount of English players in the squad then?
Little point having a few shyte ones when you can buy young promising talent.
I'm Liverpool through and through but even I can see that Dalglish is not the one. £35 million for ANY British player is rediculous, even Gareth Bale and Steven Gerrard shouldn't command those fees. But Carroll is a £8-£10 mill at best.
If we don't qualify again for the CL then he has to go.I still haven't fully forgiven him for waliking out on us and handing Man U the reigns unappossed.
Still I hope we win tonight and at least give us fans something to cheer for
lfc 1 man city 1 tonight liverpool go through on aggregate come on you reds
Liverpool needs an International coach that looks beyond promoting an inerest that is parochial in Nature; Daglish might be a Liverpool hero but his time is passed and the Mentality of looking for English players alone dimishes the global outlook of LFC because the best clubs in the world sometines do have non Nationalities at the centre of their revolution Messi' C Ronaldo ' Beckam Drogba'Eto': I have heard some people say that Daglish do not want Black players 'which I dont believe' but from the crop of players that he futures and bought might depict such rumour: Yes Glen Johnson can be said to be a Black player but he is on the flangs in that respect because Benitez signed him: Carol was a notorious buy Just Like Torres in Chelsea: from the way thins are going I believe that Liverpool have been in the limelight for the wrong reasons for some time now and the fact that Suarez was found guilty of Racism and the Liverpool management and supporters came out swinging is a bad omen for the Club: Johnson's form have deepened lately and no one seems to suggest that he might not be as comfortable beign the only Black player on the field and that his club tolerates a Racist player and further celebrates him: Suarez do have a history of being notorious despite that fact that he is a good player' remember his criminality in the world cup against Ghana' with Rumours about Maurinho coming to Liverpool ? I dont think he will because he is an international coach that loves trading with the best from all over the world to include black players and with the way the Liverpool club is going? most Black players will not want to trade their play with the club: They need to show that they are not a racist Club which the entire world think they are: Tour Africa and build a fan base like Man U, Chelsea and Arsenal: Hope most of you must have read that the Rwandan President is asking Arsen Wenger to quit as he is a Fan:
