Bradford midfielder David Syers hopes to end five months of frustration at Bristol Rovers on Saturday.
The 24-year-old could return to Bradford's starting line-up after being sidelined for over five months through injury and then suspension.
Syers, who has completed a three-game ban following his controversial dismissal in his first match back from knee ligament damage, told the club's official website: "The suspension came at a bad time for me.
"I was out for around five months with my injury, so to have another three weeks out through suspension has been frustrating certainly.
"It's been tough for the last few weeks going through training, but not having a match to prepare for. Everything you do from a Monday to a Friday as a footballer is geared up to the match on the Saturday.
"But it's definitely good to be back now and hopefully, if selected, I can contribute to the team on Saturday."
