Northampton midfielder Ryan Gilligan has put talks on a new deal at the back of his mind as the Cobblers push for an unlikely play-off place.Gilligan is one of several members of Stuart Gray's in-form side whose current deal expires at the end of the season but insists that nobody is concentrating on themselves as the Cobblers continue their climb toward the top six.
He said: "It was a vital win for us up at Hartlepool and that could prove to be the three points which really kicks our season on.
"We are on a good run of form at the moment and if we can keep winning games we can really make a challenge for the play-offs.
"My contract is up here in the summer but I think this club is going places and I really want to be a part of that.
"Contracts haven't really been mentioned yet but I think that just shows how fully focussed we all are on trying to get into the play-offs."
