Tranmere boss Ronnie Moore insists Steve Jennings' forthcoming suspension can open the door to John Mullin's first-team return.Jennings was sent off against Bristol Rovers on Saturday and will now miss the games against promotion rivals Doncaster, Oldham and Swansea.

His absence will allow Mullin to stake his claim for a regular starting berth for the League One promotion-chasers.

Moore said: "Jenno misses three games now but it does not leave us short because John Mullin has an opportunity now.

"John's been waiting for his chance after getting back to full fitness again and he gives us something different."
