Manager Paul Trollope has welcomed Bristol Rovers' midweek break despite his side facing a fixture backlog and intends to use it contructively. The Pirates have up to four games in hand over the teams around them due to their historic FA Cup run, but do not play again until the weekend trip to Millwall.
Trollope is grateful for a free week to work with his players on the training ground.
He said: "We do need to work on things and sometimes that is difficult when you have two games in a week.
"We have a free week this week and we have to make sure that we use it to good effect."
