Keith Reveley will bide his time before choosing another target for Ungaro after the nine-year-old fell in the Racing Post Chase at Kempton on Saturday.
The former Grade One winner was sent off as a well-fancied 5-1 chance for the Grade Three Handicap but knuckled on landing after the second fence.
"Everything's fine with him after yesterday. I've just turned him out in his field and he's spot-on," said Reveley.
"It was just really unfortunate but it's one of those things. We'd waited so long for it and travelled down there and then it all went wrong but the main thing is he's come back fine.
"I'm not sure what we'll do with him now but we'll see how he is over the next couple of days and I'll speak to Barry (Simpson, racing manager to owner Sir Robert Ogden) and see what we think.
"He's not in anything at Cheltenham and other plans for him would be fluid at the moment."
