Real Madrid were stunned 1-0 at home by Getafe when Arjen Robben's strike was disallowed and, with half of their team celebrating, Uche converted a rapid counter-attack at the other end.
The result leaves Barcelona, 5-1 winners at home to Levante, only two points behind their bitter rivals and Liga leaders.
The Bernabeu was left stunned when the flag was raised to rule out the Dutchman's strike from close range and Francisco Casquero led the charge out of defence.
With four men attacking two, he passed out to Pablo Hernandez on the right, who played the ball back across for Uche to finish past Iker Casillas.
The offside decision went against Raul from the original shot by Ruud van Nistelrooy and was correct: the captain laid on the chance for Robben.
The strike by Van Nistelrooy was a rare one in a performance dominated by Madrid, but lacking chances.
The only other shot of any note came from a Guti free-kick won unfairly by Sergio Ramos, parried at the near post by 'Pato' Abbondanzieri.
Raul could have opened the scoring after eight minutes when he ghosted onto a ball from left-back Miguel Torres and rounded the 'keeper, but a defender recovered to block.
Two minutes earlier Casillas did not apply much power to a pass out of his area and was lucky that Manu del Moral was unable to get to it; however Getafe ultimately took the three points anyway to move into the top half of the table.

BARCELONA 5-1 LEVANTE
Barcelona hammered bottom club Levante thanks to a Samuel Eto'o second-half hat-trick on his return to the Camp Nou following the African Cup of Nations and a brief injury.
Xavi and Lionel Messi scored in the first half to send Barca in at half-time 2-1 up despite a scare when Mustapha Riga equalised four minutes before the break, stroking home from the penalty spot after a handball by Gianluca Zambrotta.
Xavi arrived to score his goal on 14 minutes when the influential Andres Iniesta passed through the away defence for Eto'o, who tangled with his marker. The ball fell nicely for the arriving midfielder and he tucked it away.
Ronaldinho missed a glorious chance to double the advantage when Iniesta stepped over Eto'o's ball to the near post, leaving him free in the box. His shot was curled a foot over.
Levante midfielder Juanma hit the post when his low effort was touched by the outstretched fingers of Victor Valdes and the ball came back across the goal, allowing Gabi Milito to put it out for a corner.
Eto'o went close after turning with a short corner from Ronaldinho and shooting into the side-netting, then Riga levelled for the Granotes.
However Messi stepped in from the right with moments remaining of the half and received the ball back from the heel of Xavi before firing into the near-post bottom corner with power.
There was only one team in the second half. Eto'o grabbed his first goal 10 minutes in when he sprang the offside trap to latch onto Messi's right-footed reverse pass and round Vladan Kujovic.
That was his most difficult strike. The second, seven minutes further on, was a simple tap-in after Yaya Toure floated a ball on the right for Messi to square.
Eto'o could have had a third when his effort following more good work by Messi was held by Kujovic but he won the match ball with four minutes left when Ronaldinho's replacement Bojan shimmied down the right and found him unmarked to fortunately shin the ball home.
