League One - Charlton go 10 clear at the top
Charlton Athletic extended their lead at the top of League One to 10 points courtesy of a 2-0 victory at home to Stevenage.
The hosts had to wait until four minutes after the interval to break the deadlock through Michael Morrison's volley. Bradley Wright-Phillips then made sure of the points with his deflected shot after 64 minutes.
Second-placed Sheffield United have the chance to pull back some of the deficit when they face city rivals Wednesday on Sunday.
Huddersfield - with new manager Simon Grayson in charge for the first time - moved into the top three with a 2-0 win at home to league strugglers Exeter.
The Terriers went ahead five minutes before the interval thanks to Jamie McCombe's header, with Jordan Rhodes's strike five minutes from time ending Exeter's challenge at the Galpharm Stadium.
MK Dons and Carlisle also maintained their push for the play-offs with narrow wins. Mathias Doumbe's 33rd-minute strike earned MK Dons a 1-0 victory at Bournemouth, while Carlisle needed a last-minute goal from Francois Zoko to see off Yeovil 3-2.
Wycombe put in the performance of the day with a 5-0 rout of Hartlepool to move off the foot of the table. Paul Hayes and Stuart Beavon scored two goals each with Gary Doherty also on the scoresheet as Wanderers ran amok at Adams Park.
Jonathan Forte scored 10 minutes from time to hand Notts County a 1-0 win over Chesterfield, who slipped to the bottom of the standings as a result of the loss.
Scunthorpe and Rochdale failed to ease their relegation woes as both teams played out goalless draws against Brentford and Colchester respectively.
Lateef Elford-Alliyu earned Leyton Orient a 1-1 draw at Bury, who took the lead through Matthew Spring, while a Shefki Kuqi penalty was enough to take Oldham past Tranmere and Preston and Walsall had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

why are rodders/Brain Dead Muppet commenting on Charlton? thats rodders/BDM (I only post on the wendy board) no wonder no one would piss on you if you were on fire. Come on Charlton spam the wendy board!!!!!!!
Rodders - I thought I saw your name on a loaf of bread. Then I realised it said "THICK CUT"
Chris - if you look at the dates on the correspondence you refer to you will see it is Yahoo that has cocked it up and included comments that are nothing to do with the subject.
Err Am I missing something the article is about Wednesday beating Yeovil and going second. Yeah Ok, Well done Charleton for being top but Charleton fans stick your comments below an article that at least features your team. How desparate are Charleton fans that they need to do this? #30 and #19 if you guys represent the capital's IQ we are in deep...
Wednesday 3 Charlton 0
Tight game yesterday Charlton do look like a a top team. Class from Jackson coupled with an excellent team effort won the day , well done , again , the boys.
Jackson two Sheffield nil
Charlton may not look a top of the table team but we are top of the table and thats what counts.
Charlton did not look like a top of the table team ,never worked our keeper .if this is them playing well at home then anyone can beat them .as long as they get a ref who wont fall for there constant diving which has no place in this league.
Every so often a mongrel sh**s a thoroughbred
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. Now you Wednesday fans can shut up. Get over it. CAFC forever
Oh well another Yorkshire club bites the dust to the small club from London. Getting boring now Charlton. Previous posters that posted "Powell had lots of money to spend on a new squad", not true. 20 in, 21 out, very little paid on transfers, majority frees and loans. The trick was getting right players and paying good wages. The real threat to Charltons promotion push, is M K Dons. Sheeffield United your turn next week. Nice to see BDM, David and Rodders so wrong with there predictions. Please note Charlton fans could not get up today due to a massive signal failure at Leicester around 11. Leaving us stranded on trains. Mind you result made up for that disappointment.
OK Where's the Clown who said last week to Charlton fans "Yeah you haven't been to Hillsborough yet" !! LMAO. Well we' came saw and friggin conquered your band of striped numpties. Up the Addicks, Men from the South where we don't cry in our beer. No wonder the beer's full of salt water up there
