Macclesfield manager Keith Alexander was relieved to see his side ease their relegation fears somewhat with a 3-0 victory over Barnet. The Silkmen had not won by more than a single goal all season but goals from Danny Thomas, Neil Ashton and Francis Green ensured they ran riot against a Bees team who looked a shadow of the side that thrashed Lincoln 5-2 at the weekend.
Alexander said: "We have some good players here but they just needed a bit more organisation.
"They've now got 10 points from six games under my management but in truth I would have wanted more.
"I was disappointed with our performances against Brentford and Stockport."
